Inside Sales Representative (38 hours per week)

Are you ready to be the primary point of contact for customer interaction? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your customer-oriented and administrative skills can shine? DERC Salotech is searching for a motivated Inside Sales Representative to strengthen our Inside Sales team.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role as the initial point of contact for customer inquiries. Reporting to the Manager of the Inside Sales Department, you will ensure effective customer communication, manage sales processes, and contribute to the overall success of our company.

Our ideal candidate is a customer-focused communicator who engages with customers in a clear and friendly manner. You excel in presenting complex information both verbally and in writing, and you remain composed and resilient under pressure while maintaining an organized approach.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Maintain excellent telephone availability for customers. Communicate with customers regarding orders and provide updates on order status. Proactively inform customers of relevant information.
  • Quote Management: Process quotation requests, manage and follow up on quotations, and prepare quotations for standard items. Collaborate with the field sales team for non-standard items.
  • Order Processing and Delivery: Process sales orders, maintain communication on order status, monitor delivery times, and place standard item orders. Provide lead times for standard items.
  • Administration: Input orders, manage packing slips, prepare invoices, and generate export documents. Follow procedures for complaint handling.
  • Commercial Activities and Acquisition: Initiate various sales-related activities, including phone calls, to inform existing and potential customers about our products and generate new quotations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of MBO-4 level of education or equivalent, preferably in a commercial discipline.
  • Understanding of commercial and customer-oriented processes.
  • Familiarity with technical products is not required but is a valuable attribute for this role.
  • Effective communication skills in both Dutch and English (speaking, writing, reading). Proficiency in other languages is a plus.

Production Manager (38 hours per week)

At DERC Salotech, we are seeking a motivated Production Manager, also known as Production Leader / Workshop Manager. As the linchpin of our operations, you will ensure the smooth flow of the production process, maintaining the delivery of high-quality products. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for guiding and motivating production employees, monitoring and potentially enhancing the production process, and closely managing the capacity planning to optimize work allocation among available staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing leadership to the production departments: construction, assembly, testing, machining, and hose assembly.
  • Maintaining control and balance in planning and staffing.
  • Managing and maintaining machinery and resources.

The ideal candidate has completed a minimum of MBO education and possesses relevant experience from previous employments. Strong social and communicative skills are essential for this role, as you will have already demonstrated their effective application on the work floor.
