Mechanical Engineer | Oud-Beijerland | 38 hours

What will you do?

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will mainly work on our own DERC tools. You will be involved in:

  • Translating technical questions and challenges into smart, reliable designs.
  • Creating 3D designs in Autodesk Inventor and producing detailed drawings.
  • Building and testing prototypes in the workshop together with your colleagues.
  • Improving existing DERC tools and supervising production.
  • Thinking along about how we can make our tools smarter, safer, and more user-friendly.

In this role, the focus is truly on engineering, prototyping, and further development.

Who are you?

  • You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar (Bachelor level, or vocational level with growth potential).
  • You have experience with Autodesk Inventor (and preferably Vault Professional).
  • You enjoy designing, but you also get a lot of energy from testing and building prototypes.
  • You like working independently, but you find collaborating with workshop and engineering colleagues just as important.
  • You love practical engineering and are looking for a role where you can build a lot and see things happen.
