The DERC Manhole Cutter is a compact abrasive water jet cutting tool designed for precise cutting of manholes (DN450–DN800) in steel surfaces. It is part of the DERC Flexa-Jet Cold Cutting System, DERC’s modular solution for safe, controlled, and spark-free cold cutting operations.

Abrasive Cutting

Using ultra-high-pressure water combined with abrasive media, the system delivers a true cold cut with no heat input. This makes it ideal for petrochemical plants, tank maintenance, offshore projects, and industrial environments where thermal cutting is not permitted.

Operation

The cutting head is powered by a pneumatic (air-driven) motor, ensuring reliable operation in demanding industrial environments.
For mounting on steel surfaces, users can choose between permanent magnets or releasable magnets, depending on project requirements.
